My Cigar of the Week

My choice for this week is the Montecristo Reserva Negra Belicoso.

Wrapper : San Andres Morron, Mexico
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Honduras & Nicaragua

This cigar is 'square pressed' , has an oil rich, chocolate wrapper with minimal veins.  This smoke varies from caramel and chocolate tones through to a pleasantly subtle defined liquorice flavour.  A smoke that is on the stronger medium bodied side and not suited to a novice smoker.

Unfortunately, I had only the one of these cigars.  I was a little dissapointed that the one I smoked did not have the ability to hold ash well, which was a little dissapointing for such a superb cigar.

Definetely worthy of a space in any humidor, a little high in price point but worth the expense.
