I had taken some photographs in Old San Juan earlier this month. It was on the same day as a peaceful protest was being carried out by protestors as a consequence of the Government of the day wanting to cut he jobs of 200 government employees, which I suppose is why the streets were a little empty as people were acting on a cause!
I am unaware of the particular street names/places, just wanted to give a very brief pictorial illustration of the area to show. The architecture and colours are just magnificent, you really have to be there to truly appreciate it.
Some of the streets were undergoing maintenance and repairs, a lot of them in this area are cobbled with a blue glazed type of stone, most are uneven and fun to navigate!
